In this role, you will be the Key Account Manager Automotive, responsible for growing the company’s footprint within automotive production environments in the Benelux and Northwestern Germany. You will manage and expand long-term customer relationships, drive solution-based sales, and coordinate large-scale projects that implement and scale fluid connector solutions across multiple stages of automotive production.
You will act as a strategic link between local customer needs and global standards, collaborating closely with colleagues across countries and divisions.
Responsibilities:
• Managing strategic key accounts (OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers) across Benelux and Northwestern Germany.
• Expanding the company’s presence across automotive production plants
• Driving solution-based sales and positioning the company as an innovation partner
• Leading and coordinating large-scale projects, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery
• Developing new business opportunities within existing accounts and implementing global standards
• Ensuring structured reporting, CRM compliance, and clear communication across stakeholders
• Building strong, trust-based relationships from workshop floor to C-level decision makers
You will be jointly responsible for:
• Supporting the wider German automotive sales team with knowledge sharing and strategy alignment
• Facilitating international collaboration with colleagues across countries to serve global OEMs
• Ensuring seamless project handover and coordination with engineering, planning, and technical specialists
• Fluent in German and English,fluency in Dutch is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial/Business-related studies
• 3–5 years minimum experience in the automotive sector, ideally in capital goods, application, or project-based sales
• Strong understanding of OEM and Tier 1 production environments
• Proven experience in solution selling, project management, and cross-functional coordination
• Willingness to travel in the Benelux region and Northwestern Germany.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and structured reporting.
