As a Key Account Manager Healthcare & Retail you are to manage the strategic development of the BeNeLux region within the retail channel and the Healthcare B2B2C channel.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Retail: creating and implementing a well-defined strategy, as well as managing a portfolio of customers within this region.
- Healthcare Self-Pay (B2B2C): developing a winning long-term sales strategy for the assigned customers by executing detailed customer & market assessments, identifying opportunities for growth and strengthening our market position. Your expertise will be vital in exploring new partnerships and expanding into "white space" areas.
- Creating the strategy and goals for the customers in scope
- Developing, implementing & following up the key account plans within the overall strategy for the business unit and group
- Managing all aspects of the commercial negotiations, sales development and customer interface
- Meeting customers regularly, preparing (materials for) customer meetings and communicating/following up next steps/actions in a structured and effective way
- Deliver the sales and margin targets set by the annual budget
- Aligning forecasting and forecast accuracy, in close collaboration with the demand manager
- Analyzing sales and market data and using it effectively to develop (new) business
- Managing market intelligence through store visits on a regular basis and communicate in a timely manner internally
- Completion of customer specific documentation
- Management of key projects and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner
Education:
- You have at least a bachelors degree. A masters degree is a plus.
Languages:
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
- A knowledge of French is an advantage.
Knowledge & experience:
- You have at least 3 years sales experience in a B2B environment
- You have experience of dealing with customers at all levels of an organization
- You have experience in the private label market or related would be an advantage
Personnality:
- You have a proven track record as strong negotiator.
- You have strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- You have strong analytical skills, thus you are able to crunch numbers and to think in a logical and strategic manner
- You are a PC literate and have advanced Excel skills
- You are hands on.
