Poste

As a Key Account Manager Retail you are to manage the strategic development of the Benelux region within the retail channel. You will create and implement a well-defined strategy, as well as manage a portfolio of key customers within the BeNeLux region, including the follow-up of some international buying groups.

Your key responsibilities are:
- Creating the strategy and goals for the customers in scope
- Developing, implementing & following up the key account plans within the overall strategy for the business unit and group
- Analyzing sales and market data and using it effectively to develop (new) business, supported by category and product manager
- Managing market intelligence through store visits on a regular basis and communicate in a timely manner internally
- Meeting customers regularly, preparing (materials for) customer meetings and communicating/following up next steps/actions in a structured and effective way
- Managing all aspects of the commercial negotiations, sales development and customer interaction
- Deliver the sales and margin targets set by the annual budget
- Aligning forecasting and forecast accuracy, in close collaboration with the demand manager
- Conceiving and help implementing range changes and merchandising based on best practices at minimum cost impact.
- Maximizing return on all promotional activity and measure and report on the effectiveness of all promotion investments

Profil

Education:
- You have a Masters degree in Sales or Sales and Marketing or equivalent through experience.

Languages:
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
- Knowledge of French is a plus.

Knowledge & experience:
- You have at least 8 years sales experience in a B2B environment
- You have experience of dealing with customers at all levels of an organization
- A background in FMCG is a plus
- You have experience in the private label market or related would be an advantage

Personality
- You have excellent communication skills
- You are organized and structured
- You have a proven track as a stong negotiator
- You have analytical skills , which means you are able to crunch numbers and to think in a logical and strategic manner
- You are PC literate and advanced Excel skills
- You are hands on and you are a multi tasker with the ability to prioritize effectively
- You have strong interpersonal and influencing skills
