Key Account Manager - FMCG Food

Our client is an established, A-brand producer in the FMCG sector (food). Active internationally, the company is looking for a Key Account Manager who will be responsible for the largest retail accounts in the Dutch market. Operating in the fast-paced and dynamic retail environment, the company is looking for a sales professional who is able to navigate the retail landscape in The Netherlands. The Key Account Manager should be able to provide data-based insights in order to further improve existing relationships with the largest retail customers.

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and data-driven sales professional who can leverage data-based insights to improve key account performance. As Key Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts within the food retail sector.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with key accounts on HQ level to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to track progress against key account objectives and targets.
- Work directly with the management team and marketing department to set and implement the retail sales strategy, allowing the company to maintain & improve its brand and reputation within the retail landscape
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on key account performance and market insights.
- Monitoring of sales and consumer data to maximize commercial opportunities, in line with strategy.
- Continuously strive to enhance the company's reputation and brand presence within the food retail sector.

Profil

- Completed Bachelor's degree.
- 4-6 years of experience in commercial roles, at least 1 of which in a Key Account Management role
- Experience with working in the Dutch retail landscape.
- Experienced with negotiations at HQ level.
- Experience with developing and implementing strategic annual plans.
- Knowledge of using market data to develop commercial strategy.
- Experience with developing comprehensive retail growth strategy.
- Proactive attitude and capability to work autonomously.
