Our client is a leading provider of insurance products and services to the European finance and leasing industry and is also a market leader in the provision of specialised insurance.
The Country Manager Germany will have a deep understanding of the commercial landscape within Germany and will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and managing a high performing team and establishing long-term business relationships with key clients and partners.
The Country Manager will have a strong understanding and affinity to today's market environment and trends around building eco-systems, where the highest possible integration of cross-sectorial solutions is desired in the interest of the end user.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Implement the business development strategy within Germany
- Collaborate on sales forecasts and strategic initiatives
- Priority planning within the territory
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competitive activity, and client needs in order to develop sales strategies
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure alignment
- Support new client implementations
- Work closely with marketing, client management and other teams outside of the commercial area
- Continuously evaluate sales techniques for optimisation
- Set and manage sales targets, performance metrics, and KPIs
- Participation in senior management meetings, providing insights into regional sales performance and market developments
- Leading a high-performing regional business development team
- Taking a coaching and mentoring approach
- Iinternal and external stakeholder & relationship management
- Ttravel frequently to meet with clients and colleagues
Location: Home office and frequently travel within Germany

Languages:
- German fluent
- English fluent
Education:
- Academic degree (Uni, FH, VWA, BA etc.) or equivalent
Experience:
- Extended business development experience in the services sector in Germany
- Strong understanding of today's market environment and trends
- Experience with the insurance of leased or financed equipment desirable
- Experience in leading and developing a dispersed business development team
