Our client is a FMCG player active in the segment of healthy food. They are active in 40 countries, mainly in Europe with 26 brands. They are a leader in all segments in which they operate. Their products are mainly found in retail but they are also present in the channel of pharmacy.

We are looking for someone to develop and implement the BeNeLux Trade Marketing strategy and tactics to increase competitive advantage at the touch points/points of sale of the clients brands.

*MISSION*

Your mission is to develop and implement the regional Trade Marketing strategy to enhance the client's competitive advantage at retail touchpoints and to ensure business objectives are achieved. As the Trade Marketing Manager you are responsible for establishing and executing a four-pillar Customer Excellence Strategy, focusing on: Assortment Distribution, Promotion Management & Analysis, Data Management, and Retail Media.

*KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES*

As the Trade Marketing Manager you will lead regional category management initiatives, aligning category and space strategies with brand objectives, specifically for Health Foods, Active Nutrition, and Sports Nutrition. You will transform shopper insights into actionable category management strategies to position the company as a preferred supplier or category captain.

You will also leverage category management findings to guide marketing in brand positioning and promotional planning. You will develop and implement tools for assortment optimization, such as shelving solutions and strategies for distribution growth. By analyzing market research data (e.g., ACNielsen, IRI, Red Pharma, GFK), you will identify trends, uncover opportunities, and monitor competitor activities.

Establishing and promoting best practices for promotion planning, evaluation, and ROI measurement will also be part of your responsibilities. Working closely with marketing teams, you will support product launches by creating comprehensive trade packages and concepts. You will explore and capitalize on new business development opportunities across various sales channels.

You will provide strategic support to Sales Management, building professional relationships with key accounts and delivering impactful materials for presentations and meetings. You will lead operational planning and performance review meetings related to Trade Marketing, ensuring goals are met and strategies are aligned.

In collaboration with the senior sales leadership you will manage the Trade Marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Finally, you will share your expertise in category management across regions, contributing to the organization’s global knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Profil

*EDUCATION*
You have a master or equivalent by experience.

*LANGUAGES*
You are fluent in English, French and Dutch.

*KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE*
- Extensive experience in Category Management, particularly in the Health Food, Active Nutrition, and Sport Nutrition sectors.
- Expertise in space management tactics, category strategy implementation, and shopper research translation into actionable plans.
- Deep understanding of market research tools such as ACNielsen, IRI, Red Pharma, and GFK, with the ability to analyze data and provide top-line reports on market evolution and competitor activity.
- Proven ability to develop and implement Efficient Assortment tools (e.g., shelving, distribution extension) at customer sites.
- Experienced in recommending brand segmentation and promotional activities based on category management outcomes.
- You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building professional partnerships with key accounts.
