As "Area Sales Manager" you will be responsible for sales in the Southwest France region.
Responsibilities:
- Professional support for existing customers
- Acquisition of new customers
- Targeted market development
- Expert technical customer service
- Development of new sales channels
- Development of specific market strategies
- Structured market development in consultation with the sales management
- End-to-end order tracking from initial contact all the way to contract signing, even over extended periods
- Communication with local technicians, other French sales colleagues, and colleagues at the German headquarters
- Regular visits of the headquarters for training and knowledge exchange
- Continuous market monitoring, identification of appropriate recommendations for action, and sharing of insights with the sales management

home office und travelling in southwest France region (resident in the region)
Languages:
- French (native)
- English (fluent) and/or
- German (fluent)
Education:
- University degree in mechanical engineering / plant engineering, or
- Relevant business and/or technical education and experience in field related to mechanical engineering or plant engineering
Experience:
- Several years of professional experience in field sales
- Ideally, experience in the wood industry
- Strong technical understanding of complex systems and machinery
