Mission

As Technical Field Sales Engineer for the Pressure Management business, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships, and delivering innovative pressure management solutions across Belgium. Your mission is to achieve the agreed orders, sales, and profitability targets within a defined portfolio of End User accounts, while strengthening the market position. You will combine strong technical knowledge with commercial acumen to identify customer needs, recommend advanced pressure management technologies, and deliver value-driven solutions in complex industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Growth

• Drive business growth by achieving sales and bookings targets for the full Pressure Management portfolio within your assigned accounts.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to strengthen market position across the region.

Customer Engagement & Account Management

• Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with customers, EPCs, and contractors.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer operations and recommend tailored solutions that create value.
• Develop and execute account strategies and manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to order closure.

Commercial Leadership & Negotiation

• Prepare and deliver commercial proposals aligned with customer needs.
• Lead pricing and contract negotiations and close deals in line with company policies and ethical standards.

Technical Expertise & Solution Selling

• Provide technical support through presentations, product demonstrations, and consultations.
• Translate customer challenges into technically sound and commercially viable solutions using advanced technologies.

Market Intelligence & Representation

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer developments to support long-term growth strategies.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer forums to build visibility and credibility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with application engineering, project management, and customer support teams to ensure high-quality project execution.
• Work effectively across business units and regions to deliver on commitments.

Profil

Candidate Profile

Education

• Background in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Languages

• Fluent in English and Dutch and French. (You can live anywhere in Belgium)

Experience

• Experience in technical sales, business development, or engineering within industrial equipment (e.g., valves, pressure management, flow control).
• Strong understanding of industrial processes, ideally within petrochemical, refining, or energy sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and build sustainable customer relationships.
• Experience using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and CRM systems to track and analyze sales activities.
