As the Country Manager Benelux in the consumer goods sector, you will be responsible for developing and executing the business strategy in the Benelux market. You will lead local operations, ensuring the achievement of revenue goals, profitability, and market positioning. Acting as a crucial link between the headquarters and local teams, you will ensure that corporate objectives are consistently implemented while increasing brand value in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement the market strategy for the Benelux region, focusing on revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability improvement.
- Sales and Marketing: Oversee sales strategies, customer relationships, and marketing activities. Collaborate with marketing teams to launch effective campaigns that enhance brand awareness and strengthen the product portfolio.
- Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations, finance, etc.) across the Benelux region. Foster talent development and ensure a strong performance-driven culture.
- P&L Responsibility: Manage the profit and loss (P&L) account for the Benelux region, ensuring an optimal cost structure while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and other critical stakeholders in the sector.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting strategy as needed.
- Regulatory and Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations concerning the sale and distribution of consumer goods.

Profil

Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of senior leadership experience in the FMCG or consumer goods industry, with proven experience in the Benelux region.
- Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience motivating and managing cross-functional teams.
- Commercial Acumen: Excellent commercial acumen with a keen understanding of market trends, pricing strategies, and profit optimization.
- Communication: Outstanding communication skills in both Dutch and English. Proficiency in French is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to identify market opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
- Networking: Proven ability to develop and maintain a network of key business relationships and stakeholders.
- Results-Oriented: A track record of achieving results in a competitive and fast-changing market environment.
