As Sales Manager KAM you are responsible for leading, coaching and developing a team of Key Account Managers. You are responsible for the sales results within your team as well as for securing future growth by stimulating and winning continuously new business. As Sales Manager KAM you are a member of the Management team BE.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategy :

- Works with the Country Director Belgium to define and develop the strategy of the KAM Belgium.
- Implements and monitors the commercial strategy of KAM Belgium in order to maximize commercial opportunities, and achieve optimal customer experience in line with the group strategy.
- Takes responsibility as Management Team member for the development and execution of the Belgian strategy.
- Leads the retention and development of KAM customers.
- Responsible for contributing to the development of the group's sales strategy by proactively providing strategic input.
- Is responsible for a constant customer focus within the team and for the continuous improvement of the processes within this framework.

Profitable growth:

- Develops and executes on KAM Belgium's commercial budget within the guidelines of the group.
- Takes actions to realize the budget by managing concrete actions both in short and long term and by taking corrective actions when needed.
- Builds an effective growing network with the largest customers and prospects together with the Key Account Managers and country director BE.
- Ensures a continuous and forward-looking approach towards accelerated profitable growth by developing a strategy and tactical approach for existing customers, lost customers and new prospects.

Sales New Business:

- As sales manager KAM you are responsible for an own pipeline of prospects & new business opportunities meaning that you execute on sales yourself for ca 25% of your time.
- With this own direct hunting responsibility you give the example to the team how to win new business and coach them how to do the same in an inspiring way.

Inspiring Leadership & values:

- Responsible for motivating, managing and coaching his/her direct reports.
- Responsible for developing talent within his/her team, making efficient use of the resources made available by the organization.
- You build partnerships internally and externally according to the groups values and make sure to win as a groups team ao by making the difference individually and as a team.

Profil

Education:
- You have a Master degree or similar level achieved through experience.

Languages:
- You are fluent in Dutch, English and French.

- Extensive sales experience with large industrial customers
