As General Manager, you will be responsible for growing the business in your market by leading the sales, supply, and marketing teams. You will build and extend the company's strong market presence while collaborating closely with other teams as the local in-market expert. Knowing the company's mission and values inside out, and actively participating in the group strategic plan design, you will be the business and brand voice in your country. You will lead the local operations team to continue growing the business while setting transparent objectives and clear directions.
Key Responsibilities:

- You will draw up, own, and drive the strategy and operational plan for developing the business in your market, including defining the go-to-market strategy considering the right product market fit.
- You will define a clear position and strategy regarding competition and addressable market in your country.
- You will analyze data and utilize data-driven recommendations to identify and act on strategic opportunities in your region to drive increases in sales.
- You will develop deep knowledge of your assigned geographic markets and become the go-to source for all information relating to local trends and market dynamics for internal and external key stakeholders (including key partners).
- You will own the offline P&L down to EBITDA: ensuring growth in your market in line with budgetary and profitability targets set in advance, challenging centralized and outsourced expenses, while optimizing revenue streams locally.
- You will engage an entrepreneurial mindset to autonomously design, develop, and execute bespoke engagement initiatives for the assigned territory.
- You will bring innovation and transform the way of doing business with the aim of increasing your total addressable market.
- You will reinvent the offline business to ensure sustainable growth in this area.
- You will elaborate and execute efficient commercial and marketing strategies to support category growth opportunities and market share.
- You will build product strategies to best fit consumer demand and company profitability goals. You will define objectives for each team leader (Retailers, E-Retailers, B2B, Stores, Supply, Marketing) and ensure tight execution.
- You will manage country operational marketing based on local initiatives and be the point of contact for PR initiatives rollout.
- You will develop and maintain excellent relations with major business stakeholders (retailers, partners, media, etc.).
- You will collaborate with cross-functional counterparts and execute the company’s strategy on the ground.
- You will strengthen the commitment of the teams to the company’s strategy. You will act as the primary advocate and expert for your market within the company’s decision-making process, including cascading feedback on product and policy to the relevant internal stakeholders and proactively voicing key changes requested to improve the business.
- You will lead your market office and drive internal culture based on the company’s core values by coordinating and animating teams localized in your countries (HR, EPD, digital, etc.).
- You will represent the company in media relations and in discussions with strategic partners.

Profil

Education:
- You have a master degree or equivalent by experience.

Languages:
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Knowledge / Experience:
- You possess extensive experience in the retail sector, with a proven track record of successfully negotiating with major retailers.
- You have a strong background in managing and leading commercial and marketing teams, demonstrating your ability to drive performance and achieve targets.
- You are adept at creating and implementing strategic commercial and marketing plans that align with organizational goals and market trends.
- You have a proven ability to lead an organization through periods of change, effectively communicating and rallying support from team members at all levels.
- You excel in inspiring and guiding individuals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
