Our client is a start up, founded in 2016, who is making maritime logistics processes more secure and efficient. Secure Container Release (SCR) makes the container release process more secure for Carriers, Freight Forwarders, Transporters and Terminals. By using a simple and digital solutions, they allow their customers to boost productivity and automate relases processes.

Mission
The Business Development manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities within the organisation.

Key Accountabilities

1) SCR for Inland terminals: develop a new/extended market for SCR
- You will create a pipeline for the SCR for Inland terminal offering (API).

2) Top 10 SCR First Release Parties: develop a key account relationship with the top 10 first release parties to stimulate demand for the products at Carrier level and upsell to product.
- You will grow the pipeline through upselling.
- You will generate indirect demand for SCR at Ocean Carriers.

3) Top 5 SCR Independant Software Vendors (ISV): develop a key account relationship with the top 5 IVGs relevant for SCR to stimulate demand for SCR API (reseller strategy)
- You will create a resseler strategy
- you will grow the SCR API pipeline through new channels (reseller).

4) Commercial Growth
- SCR for Ocean Carriers
- Lead generation at HQ level
- Lead generation at local MD / Port level
- Target the list of countries made by CMA or internal market research
- You will list qualified leads (of countries/ports)
- You will grow the SCR for Carriers pipeline
- Lead generation via other channels
- SCR for Third parties
- SCR for Deepsea Terminals

Profil

Education
- Master's degree or similar experience

Languages
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- German is a plus

Knowledge / Experience
- You have a sales experience in transport. Experience within container shipping companies is a big plus.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset.
- You like to roll up your sleeves and contribute to the growth of a start-up
- You get a lot of energy from key account management and business development manager, you like to find your way within big corporates.
- You would like to develop an international career.
