Sales Engineer Energy Division

Gustaf de Laval was a great technical genius whose inventions include the centrifugal separator and the first functional steam turbine. During his lifetime, he registered 92 patents and started 37 companies. In 1883, he and his partner, Oscar Lamm Jr., established the company AB Separator, the forerunner of today's Alfa Laval.

Now they want to be even better! Alfa Laval is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Sales Engineer for their Energy Division, sales territory the Netherlands and Belgium.


Who you are

You are proactive with a natural commercial drive to translate customer needs into optimal technical solutions. You are a strong communicator, a great listener and enjoy explaining technical details. Eventually creating the perfect fit for your customers, helping them to become more successful. Providing excellent customer experiences is what drives you.

What you do

You are able to recognize potential leads that will help you to develop the business and introduce new solutions among your customers that are active in Refrigeration in your sales territory. You operate either from our Sales Office in Breda or from home, always closely working with the Inside Sales team. You will be given the responsibility to independently manage and drive your own sales plan.

What you know

You have a technical education with high understanding of the heat transfer market. You have a proven track record in capital and service sales from previous working experiences in a technical/industrial business. You know and feel confident about solution selling and know how to grow your network. You are a native Dutch speaker and you have an excellent understanding of the English language. French language skills could give you an advantage.
