The purpose of the Product Line Manager is to manage, and coordinate development of the new and existing products produced in the Barneveld production location. The main goal is to work with all functions within the Insecticides & Toll Manufacturing business unit to manage the existing product life cycle and launch new products. The activities must be in line with customer and market driven requirements, and in alignment with the Group product strategy.
-Research and analyze market trends
-Identify key competitors and consumer trends
-Create a detailed specification of product solutions to meet customer needs
-Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
-Ensure appropriate specifications of toll-manufacturing products are developed
-Work in close cooperation with the Sales, Customer Service, New Product Development, Regulatory, Purchasing and Manufacturing teams
-Make sure product (launch) details are appropriately communicated across the business
-Translate market requirements into product positioning
-Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
-Maximize the commercial success of solutions by motivating other disciplines to execute the agreed upon (launch) plans
-Min BSc Degree, with preference in either engineering or science
-Fluent in Dutch and English
-Minimal 5 year experience in Product Management
-Minimal 3 year experience in a manufacturing environment
-Experience in successfully managing new products launches
-Skilled in Excel and other MS office programs
-Decision making: able to gather input and insights to form decisions and solve problems in a swift and constrictive manner
