Mission

As European Sales Manager, you will lead the commercial development of both National and European Key Accounts, driving growth through strategic relationship management and active market development. You will play a key role in strengthening market presence, expanding customer portfolios, and aligning sales strategies across regions. Acting as a bridge between Sales, Customer Service, and internal stakeholders, you will ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience. This role requires a strong commercial leader with a strategic mindset, capable of driving performance while developing and coaching high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Management & Business Development

• Drive the commercial development of National and European Accounts through proactive market prospecting.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and distributors across all segments.
• Lead complex negotiations, ensuring sustainable and win-win partnerships.
• Represent the company at an international level and promote the full product portfolio.

Commercial Excellence & Market Intelligence

• Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitors, and technological developments.
• Identify new business opportunities and anticipate market evolutions.
• Share insights and strategic recommendations with senior leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Customer Experience

• Work closely with Customer Service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Align internal stakeholders on key projects, pricing strategies, and large-scale opportunities.
• Ensure consistency between National and European Account strategies.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and coach a team of Account Managers and Sales professionals.
• Drive performance through clear objectives, structured follow-up, and coaching.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the sales budget in alignment with leadership.

Representation & Market Visibility

• Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events.
• Strengthen brand visibility and develop new business relationships across markets.

Profil

Candidate Profile

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), ideally in Engineering (Electrical and/or Mechanical).

Languages

• Fluent in Dutch, English, French.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar commercial leadership role within an industrial environment.
• Strong network within the relevant industry.
• Experience in structured, process-driven environments (e.g. lean or business systems) is a plus.
