The organisation is seeking a qualified candidate who is passionate about retail and the optimal way to interact and build loyalty with the retailers (independent or groups).

The Global Retail Team consists out of 3 pillars:

Digital Retail Adoption
Product Launches
Retail Foundations & Projects

As Retail Product Owner Digital Acceleration, you’ll be a member of that new Global Retail Team with focus on the Digital acceleration pillar. We aim at onboarding as many retailers as possible on our digital platforms. At the same time, we are there to help and assist our retailers in the digital journey of today and tomorrow.

As Product Owner, you will gather business requests, schedule releases and coordinate sprints. You should be able to identify retailer needs, understand the business value and work with cross-functional teams to manage product & solution releases. As a Product Owner you are responsible for setting, prioritizing, and accepting the work generated by a cross-functional team in order to ensure the most valuable and proper functionality of the product.

Together with the other digital Product Owners you help to shape the digital agenda of our future business. At the same time, you’re actively contributing to the Global Retail Team, it’s position within the company and towards the market.

Key Accountabilities

Define the vision on Retail Digital Adoption and the B2B2C journey of the retailer, in close cooperation with the Global Retail Lead and other team members of the Global Retail Team
Responsible for the delivery of the retail digital innovation roadmap, through cross-functional team work.
Work in an Agile environment of 3-weekly sprints, with continuous review of business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify pro-actively opportunities and risks. You will do this in close cooperation with the Retail Digital Marketeers.
Act as an ambassador and a primary contact for queries related to Retail digital acceleration and its roadmap. You will on a daily base liaise with the global sales & marketing teams and stomer service
Work with cross-functional teams with various stakeholders and customers to co-develop a roadmap and inform them on the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
Develop, own, prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog to execute the product roadmap (together with the Retail Digital Marketeers), continuously balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
Partner and exchange actively and frequently with the other Digital Product owners to align on strategy and common backlog.
Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of post-launch performance and feedback to evaluate future investment



Master Degree or equivalent by experience


You communicate fluently in English, both verbal and written.
Fluent in Dutch and/or French
Experience and Personality

3-5 years relevant experience in project management or product ownership.
Digital is your middle name
You are proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively where you strive for a perfect executions.
You have an analytical, digital mindset and enjoy solving problems.
You have excelent inter personal communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and inspire partners and stakholders to drive collaboration and allignment.
High degree of organization, individual, initiative, and personal accountability.
You have a commercial mindset, that easily links the business of our branded products to the digital world.
You are a team player that loves to work with passionate people.
You are proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
You have a proven track record with the retail
