Poste

Working alongside other experts (advertising & branding, digital,direct marketing, marketeers, etc.), your primary mission is to translate the(sports) sponsoring strategy of our partner into high quality activation campaigns.Your objective is to maximize the return on investment and the impact of the sponsoring plan. You generate the best impact on the brand likeability and brand consideration.

- Define the sponsoring strategy in collaboration with several stakeholders internally, based on the sponsoring objectives and sponsoring pillar concerned :

Contribute to the definition of the sponsoring portfolio (long term vision)
Gather all the expert information needed and develop knowledge
Make recommendations in order to maximize impact and sales leads
Negotiate the best possible sponsorship deals, formalize work in contracts and reports
Define activation campaigns
Evaluate impact of all plans,using benchmarks and aligned with the global brand objectives

- Prepare concrete activation plans aligned with the global objectives :

Show a strong knowledge about other brands sponsoring plans, the sector, the trends
Proactively identifie opportunities and propose solutions
Be creative
Define for each campaign the potential risks and challenges, the milestones and implement the different steps

- Manage the whole campaign process and adapt if needed :

Give briefing to all teams involved
Define the campaign timing and deliverables
Inform all teams, take the lead and maximize return of campaign
Plan all activities inthe process, including meetings
Guarantees the right process is respected
Motivate all parties involved in the process (Communication Specialists, Customer Intelligence Analysts, ...)
Mitigate and take decisions/actions when needed to guarantee timing and quality of the deliverables

- Measure the impact of the campaign during and at the end :

Gather all info needed to make an appropriate evaluation
Make decisions and adapt during campaign if needed
Present all results to stakeholders in a highly professional way
Be accountable for the results of the campaign
Use figures and results to make recommendations for the future, take care of the follow-up (debriefing) and evaluation of actions, by means of a plan that is qualitative (improvement of procedures, general effectiveness, brand image,etc.) and quantitative

- Be identified as the key person within the company, in charge of this sponsoring domain :

Develop continuous knowledge
Fulfil an expert role, be appointed to answer specific questions in the domain
Provide expert services and analyze requests, make recommendations according to brand values : easy,empathic, daring and trustworthy.
Inform the whole organization about the campaigns launched
Build up a strong network of all stakeholders (internal, external, key persons, ambassadors, etc.)

Contribute to the construction of the sponsoring budget and is responsible for the budget follow up :

Give advice and recommendation to prepare the annual budget
Manage continuously this budget and alerts in case of problem
Ensure all efforts are made to optimize budget use
Control invoices, apply procurement and compliance guidelines and policies

Profil

- Business / economic / marketing / communications university degree is required,
- 10 to 15 years of professional experience in sponsoring management in the field of sports. Only consider applying if your experience lies in the field of sports (and not art or other topics),
- Sound and relevant senior experience in delivering results in this domain for other brands,
- Strong experience in the use of digital media to amplify a sponsoring strategy,
- Knows about the agile methodology as a way of work.
- Flexibility / availability during evenings and weekends and flexible in terms of hours to cover the events you will sponsor,
- Driving license is a must have,
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English. French and Dutch are pre - requisites,
- Communication and good relational skills,
- Sense of organization, planning and coordinating,
