Job

The Commercial Manager develops new market opportunities by initiating, analyzing and follow up projects with external parties. This includes (potential) clients, suppliers, market experts, supply chain partner and engineering companies. He/she reports, and works closely together with, the CCO. The Commercial Manager is responsible for keeping all involved stakeholders up to-date of the latest relevant developments, while maintaining discretion where appropriate.

Responsibilities
-Lead the bid review and approval process by liaising with other functions within the organization
-Present project proposals to involved parties
-Lead current projects by ensuring the effective handover of contracts and contract buffers
-Perform, analyze and initiate market research
-Map out current and future customer and market needs in detail
-Set up project proposal for market exploration, and translating research into goals

Profile

- BSc/MSc level, preferably major in engineering and minor in law
- Fluent in English and Dutch
-Min 8 year commercial and operational responsibility of tenders of technical projects
- Min 5 year international experience in a capital equipment/solution driven organization
- Experience with leading tender projects, technically, financially and logistically
- Experience with financial analysis, commercial analysis and contract law
- Affinity with international trade, capital intensive projects and metallurgic industry
- Multi-level stakeholder manageme, Strategic insight, Commercial drive, Strong communication skills, and Tenacious
-Strong personality, Stress resillient, Down to earth, Structured and Flexible
