General Manager


Our client is a multi-billion dollar company that manufactures and sells health and personal care products. With a focus on quality and sustainability they have their own manufacturing and production facilities. The organization is active globally via indirect sales channels.


The General Manager Benelux is responsible for maximizing sales results of the Benelux region. The General Manager should motivate sales managers to maximize the results of their team. The main task is to maintain and grow existing relationships and managing team leaders responsible for the daily operational business. The General Manager reports to the VP Europe. The General Manager contributes to the development, implementation and realization of the plans and projects of all departments. Additionally, the General Manager plays an important role in further professionalizing the company to realize further growth.

- Budget responsible for the results of the sales team
- Increase regional sales by motivating and inspiring sales
- Provide sales and managerial direction
- Manage and lead the Benelux operations including HR, Marketing, Customer Support, Legal, Finance and IT
- Help plan and participate in small and large scale meetings and events


- Minimal 8 year experience in sales and/or operation management
- Proven track record and skill in building engagement and a coherent team
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary operational teams
- Good knowledge of financial and commercial analysis and reporting
Education: Minimal Bachelor degree
Language: Fluent in English and Dutch, French is an advantage, other languages are a plus
Competencies: Leadership, team building, people management, commercial drive, communication and presentation skills
Personality: Outgoing, humble, adventurous, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and integrity
