For a multinational based in Vlaams Brabant, I am looking for GDPR Project Manager/ duration min. 6 months
The Interim Manager's key responsibilities will include:
Being in charge of achieving and overseeing Compliance with the new EU General Data Protection Regulation;
Define the data protection strategy with the senior Management Team of the group;
Ensure, managing and leading employee compliance to required processes
Plan and conduct internal compliance audits on a regular basis
Manage external audits as and when required
Perform a Gap Analysis between the current Data Protection Standards applied in the group and the GDPR legislation;
Undertake and manage risk assessments and relate on these to senior management on a regular basis;
Manage documentation to record compliance requirements and implement necessary measures to ensure compliance with the GDPR
Create reports for internal and external use on information security standards and effectiveness
Develop training materials that ensure Information Security compliance
Ensure good internal communication and trainings on the subject to ensure the correct awareness in the group;
Plan and perform internal compliance audits;
The key qualifications required for this interim management job:
The ideal candidate has prior experience in data/ privacy protection and has an understanding of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
He/she has been exposed to writing Information Security policies and has solid Project Management skills and is used to working in complex environments with a multitude of stakeholders.
The perfect candidate can work independently, is structured, result driven and creatives in order to find solutions which will enhance and benefit the project.
