. · Goal of the Function
The Business Development Manager is the key person to manage the strategic end-to-end commercial relation with named and corporate relations and creates a value proposition for each existing and new relation. He/she will take part in the elaboration of the yearly account portfolio and sales planning, defining which relations should be managed to which extent. He/she will take ownership of the set objectives. And safeguards timely reporting on the process of reaching these objectives. He/she explores and identifies relevant trending topics and themes from the corporate world, including treasury management,  gives proactively feed-back and collaborates closely with the product and marketing teams to propose and develop solutions or to introduce ideas into the innovation pipeline. He/she contributes and follows up the development and timely delivery of any of customer specific solutions. Supported by a strong value proposition, performing products and innovative roadmap the Business Development Manager works as well on customer retention, cross and upselling as new customer development, in a competitive, but rewarding environment. He/she is attentive for revenue opportunities, convinces customers to commit to new modules and services to be more productive. And he/she also detects opportunities for trainings and information sharing for increased satisfaction. He / she Reports hierarchically to the Head of Product, Marketing & Sales   Relationship portfolio management, building sustainable relationships with corporates  Prospection and sales Yearly relationship or account plans Execute account plan and reporting



Degree in business management ·
Fluent in Dutch/French/English (able to make presentations & negotiate in the three languages) ·
Extensive knowledge of/ affinity with the IT and financial services industry
At least 5 to 10 years of experience in account management functions of business applications and/or business services
Demonstrated capacity to manage complex accounts from a to z in a B2B context · 
Experience in working with financial and management profiles in large and mid-size organizations
